@LauraIHBennett @Sheaf_Porter_RT Good question! There was already two other stations in Sheffield, but the Midland had a new quicker route to Sheffield through the Sheaf valley, so it made sense to build the new station there! Them Victorians wouldn’t worry about a river 😆
