@Lisa_Maltby that one supports older connections, if you get a new Mac with USB then you can use Thunderbolt 3 Data cable to connect them for charging and video which is really neat - the cable is a bit £££ though. The new Apple silicon Macs are amazing, but make sure software is supported!
